About PrepAMT, independent FAA A&P test prep

Dante Leon built PrepAMT and runs it. Dante is an aircraft mechanic at British Airways, came through the UK licence exams the same way every applicant here comes through the A&P writtens, weeks of reading and no idea what had stuck, and built the tool that was missing then: one that makes you answer instead of read, shows you where you are weak, and keeps at it until the gaps close.

Every question is written from the FAA handbooks to the 40 subject areas of FAA-S-ACS-1, the current Airman Certification Standards, with 3 answer choices like the A&P tests. Right or wrong, you get the reason, and the handbook chapter it came from, so you can go and check us instead of just trusting us.

The bank is filed in 44 subjects rather than the ACS’s 40, because it is written to study from, not to test from. Every ACS area is covered, and some of them run across more than one of ours. Nothing in it is copied from an FAA test, and we do not claim otherwise.

Every fact about the A&P on this site comes from one file, and every entry in it was read from the regulation or the FAA document it names on 19 August 2026. The guide pages print that date and link the documents. Where we could not verify something, the page says so instead of stating it as fact.
